At the 1956 Winter Olympics they finished tenth, won the bronze medal at the 1958 and 1959 European Figure Skating Championships,
and they came fourth at the 1959 World Figure Skating Championships.

Died Peacefully in hospital, aged 69 years. Much loved husband of Brenda. Loved Dad of Gary,
Diane and David. Father in law of Jan, Mark and Nicola. Cherished Grandad of Lauren, Olivia, Hannah, Grace, Harrison and Henrietta.
Funeral Service at St George's Church, Station Road, Maghull on Thursday, September 4th at 11.30 am. Cremation following at Thornton Crematorium.

I open up my memory book of all the things we used to do, as I turn the pages, my eyes are filled with tears, for although I have my memories, I can't hold back the years.)
